Adam Badlotto
Filmmaker + Visual Artist
Filmmaker and Visual Artist Adam Badlotto has been featured on MTV, Ovation TV, PBS Reel 13, Ain’t It Cool News and Alt Press. His films have screened at dozens of film festivals and art galleries worldwide, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Aero Theatre, and the TCL Chinese Theatre.
With an emphasis on motion graphics and animation, sight and sound are equally important in his work. He manually creates unique visuals that appear audio-reactive by employing experimental techniques such as flatbed scanners and microscopes. This process transforms ordinary objects and liquids into intricate compositions and unique abstractions.
He has produced award winning work for large ad agencies like Zimmerman Advertising where he created the 90th anniversary logo for White Castle. He also has experience with boutique agencies such as Helium Creative, where his work in web motion design won multiple Addy awards.
In 2022, CineLife and Spot Entertainment distributed his short film “Free Fall with John and Yoko” across 200+ theaters nationwide. His short film “Only in Dreams” aired on Ovation TV, whom referred to it as “an experiment for the senses” and “truly captivating”.
In addition to his personal artwork and short films, he specializes in creating music videos and live performance videos. He also writes and performs original music under the name Badlotto and has a debut visual album releasing shortly.
